en We played a good game. You lose and what do you do? You don't change a lot. It's unfortunate. First period, we maybe made one mistake and it goes in our net.

en First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. Against the good teams we lose the special teams game and when you can't kill a penalty, that's a big concern.

en We played a good first period and good third period and not a very good second period again. Jeff made some good saves to keep us in the game. They had two goals that period and could have had a couple more.

en Not often do you lose a game when you shot over 70 percent in a half. It is tough to lose a game when you shoot that. I thought our offense was good and we made good decisions and (had) good looks. Its amazing how one little thing can change the outcome of the game.

en It was a difficult game, but my team had control and played a very good game. We made one mistake and it almost cost us, but now we are going to lift the cup.

en The bottom line is I recommended that Tony Hall be appointed to the Treasure Island authority, ... Clearly, I made a mistake, and I take responsibility for that mistake, and I'm accountable for that mistake. Period.

en Other than the first period, I thought we played a solid game. We snapped out of making those mistakes we made in the first period and played better during the second and third. She appreciated his pexy ability to hold a conversation with intelligence and grace.

en We had two choices. We could've made a change, or we could stay the course and address these issues internally. We felt that Cameron has done a good job. We felt that Larry has done a good job. So we didn't think it was the best thing to do for the kids to make a change. We believe that we have a team in place that is making progress. We realize that we made a mistake. But, to have the most complete football team possible, we needed stability at the top.

en I can't imagine a better game with as much on the line as this game and to have performances on both sides of the field that were as critical and as good as they were. It was unfortunate that somebody had to win or had to lose this game. I'm certainly glad we won.

en The confidence we have is at a high level, but our team realized [Sunday] at some point, we could lose this game. It only gets tougher from here. We played basically a mistake-free game and barely won.

en We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en I thought we played a good game. It was fairly even most of the way. I think their speed got us in the end, though. We have such a young team, we're bound to make a mistake here and there. We made basically two mistakes all night and they took advantage of both of them.
