(Monday), we watched films of a recent Greenwood game, and they really struggled from three-point range. They only made 30 percent of their shots, and they had trouble handling the ball.

We really struggled at the start of the game on the offensive end. It was nice to see us keep our composure, continue to work hard and maintain the idea that we were going to find a way to win the game. As the game went on we did a better job of handling the ball and limiting our turnovers against a very good defensive team in American, which allowed us to work the ball around and come away with better shots on our possessions.

We shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We were 8 of 14 from 3-point range and once we started making our perimeter jump shots that opened up our inside game for Fuller and Jones.

They (the Titans) made 29 percent of their shots, and I don't recall ever losing a game when the other team shot that poorly. Ryan Campbell guarded Chase for a lot of the game, and if he wouldn't have made those shots we probably would've won.

He made some huge saves. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. Some great saves on shots from the point. Even on ones he had trouble seeing, he was seeing everything. He was a key factor in the game.

Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

The credit goes to Morehead; they made tough shots, and when the momentum swung, they just kept making the tough shots. They shot 66 percent in the second half, and that will eclipse a lead. The type of shots they made, they deserved to win the game tonight.

Mike got tired handling the ball. I thought if we could get someone who could distribute the ball a little bit and spot Mike up, he could make some shots. Lo and behold, it was the other guy who made them.

We need to do a better job of getting the ball in his hands. That's something we did not do well in the Air Force game. It's something we made a point of today, especially with Mario West out, to try to get him more touches and more involved. I still think, actually, he can get some more shots.

The kids watched the films (of last year's game) and came away shaking their heads. They couldn't believe the mistakes they made, and they're definitely hoping to turn things around.

We've had a lot of shots on goal lately. But we've been giving the ball to the goalkeeper or just missing. It's something we've really been working hard on. I mean, if we just made 25 percent of those shots, that would be something.

Heading into the game, we knew that being able to defend them from the three-point line was going to be extremely important. We did a great job of following through with that game plan. Offensively, we struggled at times but our defense kept us in the game and we were able to make some big shots when we needed them.

If we see another (earnings) pre-announcement tomorrow or Monday, it could be a whole new ball game, but right now it's just sort of caught in a range.

That first game, he got the shots he wanted. This time, we disrupted his rhythm and got him in foul trouble. We made him take shots he didn't want to take.
