en We knew we could play with them, but we weren't sure about all the emotions coming in here on Senior Night. We had a lot of energy and we came out and shot well, played well and got the early lead.

en Against East Central, we had to come from behind and it took a lot out of us. The last two games we shot the ball well early and got a lead. I'm not sure we had the energy to keep coming from behind.

en We knew it was their senior night. We knew they would be emotional and high and excited to play us and it sure showed in the first game; they played great.

en Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game.

en We knew, with this being senior night, that he was going to come out and play. You cannot let an offensive player get in a rhythm and we let him make a couple of jumpers early.

en I actually thought this kind of game might be coming; we had our best practice of the season last night. We knew York would be physical, and I was very happy with how our kids played. Of course, Mason came up with the big shot at the end. He?s a big-time player who made a big shot.

en Senior night can go one of two ways. It can either get your emotions stirred up early and you can come out flat, or it can get you fired up and come out hard. We came out strong and with lots of intensity.

en At the time I was pretty content to walk away. I'd put everything into it, as if it were my senior year. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. en I thought we played sluggish and tired all night long. I just thought the energy wasn't there. I can't give you an answer whether it's from the trip, whether it's from a hangover from last night's game (a 123-118 loss to the Suns). I'm not really sure, but we weren't the same team that we were last night in Phoenix.

en It doesn't feel like it's Senior Night. I guess it will probably hit me around 7 o'clock. Of course, we will have emotions before the game. It will be sad. But we have to make sure we don't have those same sad emotions and crying after the game because we lost. We want to go out with a win.

en We definitely need good pitching and good defense, but we can't leave men on base. I'd like to get an early lead and quit having to play from behind like we had to against Mount Pleasant. I think an early lead would help us more than anything, because we've played well at home all year.

en To begin with, we were tight. We played real tense and timid today. They got up early on us, 3-0, before taking the 5-1 lead after one. We then played outstanding defense in the second period, but we weren't able to score offensively.

en The first half we were going through the motions. We weren't playing with fire. And with energy and defensive presence, we cut the lead down and it was a tie ballgame. We felt comfortable we could make a shot or stop when we had to.
