en I'm a competitive person. I think you all know that. Myself, I feel like I can do more. But at the same time we do have other players on the team who can make plays. Just being me, yeah, I want to be utilized a little bit more than what I am.

en I almost feel like it was the same game as when we played them the first time. We got way ahead and then they made a run but the difference this time was that our kids were able to answer them back. We're getting better. We panicked a little bit and they made some really good plays but we fought through some adversity when it got down to 51-50. en As long as our players focus, I feel that we ought to be competitive come tournament time. In addition, I feel that our record could very well merit us a berth in the Virginia State Independent Schools Playoffs. If so, it would be the first time that we qualified for the VIS.

en We have a positive thing going with our basketball team. I think our players feel good about what we're doing. Our coaches feel that way. We've been competitive. We can beat anybody in our league.

en It's an old adage. You think about players – not plays. You think about players. You think about a guy who can make a play that you need at that point. Blake Powers, James Hardy. We got good protection. Players make plays.

en To me, he's got Hall of Fame credentials. He's as competitive as anyone. You look at his last 10 years and he plays a lot, plays hurt, plays through just about everything. I think he's one of the best players on the club.

en There's not one person on a team, there's a whole squad. I'll take everybody I can get and if I make them feel the way I felt the last time we played them, then so be it.

en These three players were named team captains after a vote by the team. I feel that these three players are tremendous leaders. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. Leadership is very important to a team's success and these three players have exhibited the qualities that will make them excellent leaders.
