en We've really gotten a lot of work, and we're much improved in that area from the day we started spring practice.

en The offensive line is an area in which we need to improve from what happened last year, and there were a lot of things that contributed to that. I like what I've seen so far this spring. This is the one position on our team where we are extremely young, but I believe talented. This is probably the one area that we've made the most progress since day one of spring practice.

en This spring, we're going to concentrate in the area of being very physical. You can't talk about it; you can't put it on the blackboard. You have to do it on the practice field. We're going to do that this spring.

I do know we are improved from the fall and that the amount of work we were able to get done this spring was two-fold from last spring.

en I think we've improved in every area, and I think they could say the same. That game was the first weekend in January before we started going through this gauntlet. I think both teams just have so many more experiences; so many more practices that have hopefully made us better in every area. And I think we both probably are.

en It's something we're going to consider. It's not set in stone. It's a decision we'll make after spring practice. He will miss pretty much all of the contact work, but it's something we're going to look at in spring.

en His move on this position started back in December when we would segment a certain part of the practice just for developmental purposes. That was a position of attention as we started in the spring, and he's given us some positive feelings about that from the way he performed.

en We had some guys grow up this spring. We still have lot of work that needs to be done. Overall, I feel we have improved.

en They've both been very dependable. They have gotten a lot of snaps. They've been able to be out there on a weekly basis and understand it and get better. I think they've improved. I think they started at a good level and I think they've improved with each game. I think they're doing well and I think they can do better. There are some things that they need to work on. They're both instinctive football players, smart guys that when you tell them something, they understand it.

en The first day went well. We're taking care of touches on the ball much better. I think by the end of the six weeks we'll have improved a lot as a team and moved in the right direction. We had good winter preparation before spring practice. We look strong and healthy, and hopefully we'll stay that way.

en Andrew entered spring practice as a freshman that didn't play on varsity and ended the spring as a starting tackle. He is a hard worker and gives great effort during practice. He has a chance to be one of our best players.

en [A: The eight-man practice squad is meant to give teams a] minor-league ... We meet extra with them. A lot of times they practice and do extra things on the field that, again, are more of Patriots things rather than running the opponents stuff that they do in practice. ? They're not quite there yet or don't have the opportunity yet. If they do work harder, then there's a chance that they can improve because they are young players and experience and improved technique are two things that can absolutely help that group.

en Our guys have been in the weight room all winter and spring and they are ready to hit people and get the real practice started.

en We'd love to have Brian back, but he's gone, he has moved on and we wish him well. We have some guys who are champing at the bit to get started in spring practice. We have a good blend.

en It's kind of the offense as a whole that has improved their confidence, ... And it really started with the improvement of the offensive line. Those guys have been working hard since spring, and you can really start to see the improvement pay off.
