en My dad played here in the '50s, I spent a lot of time in this area, my grandparents lived here, I played for the (Minnesota) North Stars for a short time and my dad won a Stanley Cup in this state. It's a place I'm very familiar with and that's why playing against Minnesota in Minneapolis makes the afternoon very special.

en All the injuries right now, yeah, it's tough. But you've got to deal with it. You have to continue to go out and play. Tonight, we just weren't knocking down shots, and that has nothing to do with injuries.

en I think that if you get caught the third time, I mean that's real bad, you should get abandoned from the game. You shouldn't be able to be caught the third time because after the first time, if you don't learn from that, from 50 games that you sit down without getting paid, that's pretty bad.

en (The Badgers) have been so close so much of the season. They've had so much adversity, so many injuries, you knew sooner or later, they probably were going to catch up to somebody and they were able to catch up to Minnesota.

en That was a good basketball team we played tonight. I was bragging on Tommy about having all his guys (last season, U-M was beset by injuries). I guess Lester (Abram) got hurt and they really missed him tonight.

en We had so much support last weekend in Minnesota. We're just thankful that everyone came out to help us celebrate tonight.
