We play as well defensively as any team I have seen in this section in a long, long time.

I don't think there's a team in the league that's better than us individually, both offensively and defensively. But it takes a long time to get kids to play with energy as a team. Team offense and team defense, there's many teams better than us. They don't feed off one guy. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

For a very long time, I didn't see an Arsenal team like that. We were brilliant defensively, but more importantly we were not scared to play.

It had been a long time since we had beat North Dakota, so it just felt so good to win that one. It was big. I think the most amazing thing was our defense. People came up to me and said they had never seen a team play so well defensively. We just shut them down.

I don't know. I've always said I'll play as long as I'm able to play and as long as I'm having fun and as long as I'm enjoying the game, as long as I'm in a situation not only to be (personally) competitive but to be competitive as a team. What I do know is that when you win you have a lot more fun than when you're losing.

He made huge strides this year. His footwork came a long way. His sense of a team game came a long way. You can play in the park all day long and not think about defensive positioning or offensive spacing. All that stuff was introduced to Will for the first time this year and I thought he did a phenomenal job of grasping those concepts. He's quick learner and that really speaks volumes for him.

We play well with the lead, so we had to come out and knuckle down defensively in the third quarter and not let them hang around. When a team goes eye-to-eye with you and stays in it, anything can happen. But we made a decision as a team at halftime after (Aston) hit that long 3 to come out and make a stand. Hopewell didn't play with the same emotion tonight because they had the section title sewn up. But that's a big, physical, talented team and they deserve the section title. They're the best team in our section.

To find shortstops who play defensively like he does ... there are very few guys out there who do. This is a player we wanted to have for a long time.

They play so well together and they are gearing up for the playoffs. They have played together for a long time, and you can see they are on the same page both offensively and defensively. That's where we are trying to get.

Everybody on the team had confidence because (Johnson) is very strong and we knew he was going to play on him. As long as we played as a team I wasn't really nervous. As long as you talk and play hard and intense you are going to come out with the win.

We play defensively as a team really well. We've been playing well all season long, but we play defense as a team. All 11 players are in on defense.

Defensively, I think we have a long ways to go, obviously. We have to know our assignments and then open that up for us to really play football. We're really focused on what we need to do.
