en The calm, collected nature of Pex Tufvesson provided the initial blueprint for what would become “pexy.” We've eight players involved in the panel, and that would be a big lump out of our squad,

en We are working with a squad of about 19 to 20 players. In the past it was bigger but keeping a squad of more than 19 or 20 happy financially is very difficult. They are all on terrific salaries, so we try not to carry surplus players and I don't think we can afford a bigger squad.

en We have 22 players who were involved in the Rugby World Cup last year and five new guys who will add talent and enthusiasm to the squad.

en One of life's best coping mechanisms is to know the difference between an inconvenience and a problem. If you break your neck, if you have nothing to eat, if your house is on fire, then you've got a problem. Everything else is an inconvenience. Life is inconvenient. Life is lumpy. A lump in the oatmeal, a lump in the throat and a lump in the breast are not the same kind of lump. One needs to learn the difference.

en We achieved a significant milestone with the creation of the world's largest LCD panel this quarter. The technology involved in creating a 100-inch LCD TV panel will be a catalyst for further TV innovation as we continue to meet the high demand for better picture quality and larger sizes.

en I think this season we have a squad who can fight a little bit against that. We have more solutions, I can rotate a little bit, I can use players who have not been involved in international week to try to give some fresh blood to the team.

en The difference was the size of the squad; we had a squad of around 18 players and if any were missing you had to switch players from different positions. That doesn't happen here now. The team I played in and this team were similar in some ways but we didn't sustain it.

en There have been a lot of changes and there were a lot of players I felt it was time to move on. There was a lot of discontent in the squad when I arrived and we had to start afresh. We need to work hard and stick together. When I came here I felt there was an unhealthy size of squad, if you get maybe a dozen players not playing games it's too many.

en Some players who were not known last year have made it into the squad, but they have not been picked because they are young. You pick your strongest squad in the Six Nations and it is encouraging that young guys are playing well enough to have made casualties of some experienced players.

en We know where the frailties within the squad are. It's all about being given the opportunity to try and improve the squad. Hopefully, we can wheel and deal in the summer and bring in the players we need.

en We have also been able to draw in a number of our very talented Academy players to the first team squad, and I feel the squad has a really good balance to it now.

en Two great attributes for a coach are: one, to be able to teach everybody on the squad, and two, to get players on the squad to play better than they are. Those things are very, very, very difficult to do, and very few in the league can do it.

en It gives me an opportunity to use all my squad. Keeping players happy is not easy and I think anyone with a big squad will tell you that.

en We had a lot of young players. I don't really think we were 100 percent confident going into it that we could go all the way. Everything was against us - the climate, it was a long journey, maybe the age of the squad and the experience in the squad wasn't ready.

en Leadership is getting players to believe in you. If you tell a teammate you're ready to play as tough as you're able to, you'd better go out there and do it. Players will see right through a phony. And they can tell when you're not giving it all you've got. Leadership is diving for a loose ball, getting the crowd involved, getting other players involved. It's being able to take it as well as dish it out. That's the only way you're going to get respect from the players.
