en I am excited about going to Richmond this weekend. It has all come down to this race to settle the top ten that will be competing for the championship this year. We've had a good run over the last several months and have put ourselves in contention for this thing. We have to have no mistakes this weekend -- not by the driver and not on pit road. en It is very tough to replace a driver and it is very difficult to just jump in a car and drive. I was glad to be able to get in the car a little bit already this week. Plus, road racing is what I know, so I hope to get the car up to speed quickly this weekend and get good results.

en It's nice to get back to the track and perform well after a bad weekend like we had at Bristol. We didn't change a thing. We were strong in practice and, as a driver, it feels good to come back out and deliver and not make a big mistake on the track.

en Our officers don't know every person, ... But, I'll guarantee you, any parent would call us if someone swerved on the road, we didn't pull the driver over, and that driver hit someone.

en It was big, especially after the weekend we had. We have a chance to go on the road (today) and we haven't been too good on the road. We have four conference road series left, so we have to get better.

en When he called his neighbor, the driver said 'they're trying to force me from the road.' That could be construed as road rage, but we are of the assumption that the individuals were known to each other.

en Sometimes going on the road has been more difficult (for him). You could ask him now and he'd look you right in the face and say, 'nothing bothers me.' I don't believe him. He's a human being and a really good kid who made a stupid mistake and he paid for the price for that mistake.

en It wasn't the most exciting race ever. It was a perfect weekend, no drama. I couldn't stop myself from thinking 'What's going to go wrong?' It's been a smooth weekend all the way through.

en The smaller the track, the more it comes down to the driver. I would say its 30 to 40 percent driver here. It's a good track. We had a rough year last year, but overall we've done well here. This weekend, this is what racing is all about, the longer races. I still get that enjoyment.

en If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

en A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. It's a big weekend. Our next six conference games are on the road, so we need to keep playing well at home this weekend.

en I just know this weekend is the most exciting and most important weekend of my career,

en It was one of my individual side goals to try and get it before we started going on the road a lot. This is pretty much the last weekend for it. Last weekend kind of messed me up, and I've only had one in the last six games or something, so I must be seeing it coming and starting to choke on it.

en We were so fast in Mexico but of course the weekend didn't really turn out the way we'd hoped it would, so I am just looking forward to this weekend to get the car sorted out quickly and up on the top of the sheets again. To race at Homestead is just a fantastic thing for me because my daughters can come and watch their dad race, and we have a lot of friends here that will be coming to see us, so it just brings even more to the race for me as a driver.
