I didn't take any exception to it. It wasn't a big deal. It's part of it. Whatever. |
I don't know if it's been too much. I just think that with the combination of the ceremonies, the off day, all the families that were in town, all the people that wanted a piece of our time the last few days, it's just been difficult because it's almost like the game was secondary, which is not how it should be. It's great, we enjoyed it, but it's time to move on to a new season. |
I don't know what happened. I guess I thought I fouled it off. |
I felt it, but I couldn't really hear it. The only people who knew it hit me were me and Steve. ... It was a lucky break, what can you say? |
I have my own things, but it's not as bad as a Teddy bear. If that makes him feel comfortable -- wow. I guess it's just one of those things. |
I let it grow every winter and get it cut in April or May. I'm too lazy in the off-season to get it cut. |
I said, 'What the hell?' and it worked. |
I saw a hit-and-run, so I took off. |
I signed so many of those pictures. Somebody made a lot of money off that photo. I know that. It's good. It helped us win. That's the biggest thing. |
I think the game runs through a catcher. A catcher calls all the pitches. It's a part of the game that a lot of people don't understand. |
I thought for sure the ball hit the ground. I watched the replay 50 times and I still don't know. The third strike is in the dirt, you run. I didn't hear him say out, Josh didn't tag me. |
I was sure I caught it. I didn't. It happens. |
I was trying to get a cheapie. It went foul. ... I was actually kind of mad at myself because it would have been an easy run for us. But it worked out. |
I'm speechless right now. On behalf of the White Sox and the whole organization, including myself, I want to thank TNA for everything you've done. With this belt, I'm going to make a presentation after every game to the Player of the Game. Whoever has the best game gets to carry it around for the night, but one thing, it's going to be in my locker a whole lot. |
I've seen the replay, and I still don't know. |
