It's not just immigrant rights that are at stake anymore, it's all citizens' rights that are at stake. |
Let's leave our flags at home. Let's make sure we're bringing the American flags. |
Our position is that it was the politics of fear. We're not going away. |
Over the next month, all bets are off. I don't know who's going to win. All I know is whatever comes out of Senate has to be perfect. |
People care about America. People love America. People want America to treat it with dignity and respect that they treat America with. |
The broader point we're conveying is the immigrant community is important. What would be the impact if there were no immigrants? The state would not have enough workers. The state is already lacking in workers. |
Today is an opportunity for Massachusetts residents to think about what the Commonwealth would look like without immigrants. Take a moment and think about who is serving you when you get your coffee, who is cleaning your office. Think about their hopes and dreams. |
We would like to see a safe, a fair and human enforcement system that makes everybody's life easier, more realistic, but makes our country safer. |
