It's not real psychoanalysis. It's evading actually taking care of you, and after a while, in this case, you realize it's the robot that has a psychosis, and you're perfectly fine. I'm fascinated by things you can control from your desktop that may be halfway across the world. You log on and you're in a waiting room, and you wait your turn because it can only see one patient at a time. Then you sign up for a session and if it's not occupied you get tossed right in. There's a monitor where the robot, who is in another location, is reacting to everything you say. Then you type in your questions and it responds, and you go on in this dialogue for five minutes. |
