 There is something about his persona that I love - his mystery. He doesn't really like to talk about his personal life. I thought that was an interesting concept, and so we put that into the movie.

 To be married in our profession is not an easy thing. There's too many beautiful people around, very interesting people. It's just a matter of really having-being patient and probably having the capacity and the faith of falling in love with your own wife again. That happens to me.

 We are now integrated into American society and I don't like the word fashionable, because fashionable means that it's going to pass. It's not like that anymore.

 We have to think also that this movie is going to be seen by kids, too, ... I think it's important that it's not so bloody.

 We were very keen on not showing any blood in the movie or showing Zorro stabbing anybody -- which happens in the first one. This time, Steven and Martin Campbell and everybody around the movie were very careful with that type of thing.

 We were very specific about the fact that Zorro shouldn't kill anyone directly,

 Whatever happens... I must not... cry...
