I've been playing since I was 16 or 17. When I was at Rutgers from '81 to '85, I was in a band called The Queues, which was pretty much a cross between J. Geils and Flock of Seagulls. |
We get Rutgers students at our shows all the time. The Cabin is always a blast to play. It's a way to enjoy a hobby I love, and the band is really smoking. It's great to just see everybody get out there and dance. |
We're a party band. We do mostly covers we play anything from Aretha Franklin to Jackson Brown to Pink. |
We're semi-pro though, strictly part time. You have to budget your time. I have a job here at Rutgers that I love, and the band is a weekend-warrior kind of thing. |
