As far as the facility, they have more grass at Bowie because we're land-locked over here. There's more room in the two portables over there.
That's the best part about it. There aren't a lot of eighth-grade teams that get to play out there. Playing at Grande in junior high will definitely get you ready to play there on Fridays.
They all seem to be doing OK. Seventh-graders are seventh-graders and don't know to put their pants on right, but we're taking care of that. It's a challenge for all of us to travel to Bowie only so far as we can't just walk out the back door and start working.
We still have to practice and play, and no matter where we do, the field is still going to be 100 yards, and they're doing a good job. The kids are doing everything we ask of them.
