Combined, they only have about 10 million subscribers. You can look at that as being the equivalent of a couple of major cities. I had satellite radio and it was OK, but at the end of the day you want to be connected to what's happening locally so you'll tune in to your local radio stations to find out what's happening there or what concerts are going to be coming to town. |
For those that travel a lot, then satellite radio is probably for them. For time, energy and effort, I think people would rather stay local for their radio listening. |
