I missed a couple of my short putts. I had a four-footer on the last hole and hit a pretty good putt, but it just bounced dead left. |
I played my first Masters with him and this is his last. I couldn't think of a better person to play with at Augusta. |
I stopped and said, 'Let's figure this out. You lived here. You can handle this. |
I think tomorrow for me it's go out there, get comfortable, continue to do the same things I'm doing. What I shoot - it's insignificant unless I go out there and shoot 65, then all of a sudden I might really be able to do something. |
I wasn't playing the PGA Tour year in and year out so I didn't have the same kind of grind as some guys. I'm still a fresh 40, if that makes any sense. I'm still having fun. I'm still learning. |
I'm probably a little different than most of the guys out here, because I spent a lot of time overseas. I wasn't playing the PGA Tour year in and year out, so I didn't have the same kind of grind. ... I'm still a fresh 40, if that makes sense. |
I'm still a fresh 40, if that makes sense. I'm having fun. I'm still learning. Last year proved to me that what I'm doing works, and I think it is good enough to win if I do it well enough for four days. |
If we looked at how many guys had the 36-hole lead and won the tournament last year, it probably wouldn't be a great number. Still, it's a good position to be in. |
It felt like a marathon. It didn't have a lot of feel to it and I'm a player who likes to play on feel. |
It was a great week and it was awesome to be here. I'd just like to have that front nine over. |
It was a great week. I did play some great golf. But I played nine terrible holes in the afternoon round. |
It was neat to hear him talk about (the Masters). It was my honor to play with him. He went and laid it to us. If that's his last round here, he took care of it. |
It wasn't perfect, but it was much improved, which was nice to see. |
It wasn't really a great ball-striking round, but I made a lot of putts today. Today I don't really think has a bearing on anything. You kind of have one course that's a little easier and then one you try and survive on. I enjoy it here. |
It's changed so dramatically. I remember on No. 1, if you hit a real good drive, you could get over the bunker. I played with Todd Hamilton today, and neither of us got to the bunker. It was like, 'Wow! Welcome to Augusta.' This is a big-boy golf course now. |
