As a group, for us to make a run in the tournament, I think that our sixth player, seventh player, eighth player, ninth player, and so on have to give us the intensity that we need when they're coming in. They have to go and focus. When you're a reserve player you have to continue what the starters do. If they started out great, then you have to make it even better.

Candace Parker did a great job of attacking and it opened things up.

Coach [C. Vivian Stringer] told us before it even started that it was going to come down to the last seconds.

Diana was playing the [point] and that's not really her natural position. She's a scorer, a [shooting] guard and the fact that I am a point guard, will definitely help her in terms of her numbers and things she's capable of doing.

Everybody came back to their senses (in the second half) and we started making smart plays on the offensive end. But they were able to attack (early) and get the momentum. The intensity level for them was very high and they're going to surprise some people.

I am definitely excited. I think that I will be able to get everyone involved [and] be able to run the team. I'm just excited and ready to get started.

I don't like to lose. I'm a competitor. It doesn't feel good. As a senior, this is something you look forward to. To know it's not possible, I mean ... we just got to move on.

I don't want to say we got complacent, We attempted to play hard.

I feel we have all the necessary pieces to contend for a national title. We really got a chance. We still got a lot more to go, and I'm looking forward to it.

I felt unstoppable. (Dickson) is a scoring threat, no doubt. ... It shows a lot about our character that we were able to fight and not give up.

I guess that's how the basketball gods wanted it to be. When it comes around, we're going to be ready.

I just have to continue to work hard. The honors will take care of themselves.

I knew what I had to do. This is my fifth year here. I've been through this before. It was my time to step up.

I know Connecticut is definitely going to come stronger because they're going to be at home. We just have to continue to focus and know that to win we have to play great defense. That's what we do and we just have to do it well. We're going to be away, and we just have to focus that much harder.

I think it's going to be an easy transition for me.
