It's going to be a challenging weekend.

Our problem this year is we play down to some teams and up to others. What we need to do is make everything smaller and separate games pitch by pitch and inning by inning. That makes the big picture easier to handle in the long run.

San Diego was a good experience for the team. It let everyone know what we needed to do to win.

The advantage of having really good starting pitching is that we know the game will be close. Nevertheless, we have to try to put up as many runs as possible.

Those guys hit so well with two strikes. We were throwing pitches five inches off the plate and they were getting hits. We' weren't able to do that today.
