 He will not compete this spring. And that's all I can say about it.

 He's starting to become a big team leader for us because he's one of those guys that sets the tempo for us on defense. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. He has that mentality that he's the best player on the field, and you need that when you are in the secondary.

 He's the kind of kid that if he makes a mistake, he beats himself up. And I've been trying to tell him not to get down and to just come back on the next play.

 He's very intelligent on the field, and he's matured a bunch since last year. He's started to take the role of wanting to lead this team. And that's all you can ask out of a young man at his position.

 His light doesn't come on until Saturdays.

 I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

 I thought Matt did an excellent job of stepping in.

 I'm looking at it as I'm the best fit for the job. And I don't worry about that. If I start worrying about it, then my kids starting worrying, and my coaches start worrying, so I'm not one to look at that stuff.

 I've heard nobody talk about that.

 It's not a problem for me, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. We'll do what we have to do.

 Mobley's fine now, and he got some plays in during the scrimmage. So we expect him to be ready for Saturday's game.

 Monte has the ability to make plays when they aren't there, and that's what I'm looking forward to seeing.

 Overall, I feel pretty good with some things. And I was displeased with some things also but we can correct those mistakes by the fall so I feel pretty good about how things went.

 Those two guys will get a lot of reps this spring. So we'll definitely see what they can do at that position.

 We still don't know about him at this point. He was still hobbling around on it. We'll hopefully know more later in the week.
