This is a play about what happens when the whole world comes into the kitchen. This is about a family in the midst of a lot of problems in the contemporary world: Crime, police corruption, family challenges, lack of money, family separation. And, of course, that sounds rather dramatic but like so many contemporary playwrights, Walker deals with these problems of today in a very absurdist comic way. |
