 Why the intelligence proved wrong [on weapons of mass destruction], I'm not in a position to say, ... I simply don't know.

 Why this huge contract has not been and is not now being adequately audited is beyond me. The potential for waste and profiteering under such a contract is substantial,

 will make the right choices -- choices that will serve the world's real interests in regional peace and security.
