Children Learn What They Live |
I did a series of classes in psychology (at the institute), ... The students that came to that class had children. And over a period of a few years, they decided they wanted a nursery school, a play group (to watch over their children while they were studying). So in one of the garages that was near where we were having the classes, we established a play group area and the students volunteered to supervise. That eventually led to building a state-licensed nursery school, which was approved by the California department of social welfare. |
I had a good extended family, ... There were several aunts and uncles who were really interested in the family. And our neighbors were great. There were kids on either side of where we lived. It was a fairly large community. |
The poem is common-sense relationships. It's really what it is, ... All the lines are different relationships and if you look at it, you'll see that. Honesty and truth are relationships. If you're honest with your children, they learn truth, you see. Or if you're truthful with them, they learn honesty. They're just a few that are a jump like, `acceptance equals love,' but they are really just common knowledge. |
