Being able to go to Columbus for a third time in four years - I can't put in words.

I found out at the hotel. I have no idea what happened, and there wasn't much I can do about it, but it's too bad. I'm sure it was a tough decision on their part.

I'm still hopeful I will have a chance [to coach]. I've expressed that to the people here, so that's no big secret. I'm looking for a new challenge outside education, but I still have the desire to coach.

It didn't affect us at all. You hate to see that, but we didn't change anything. We just needed to knock some shots down, that's all.

Never in my wildest dreams would I think this would happen. When we started practice back on Nov. 6, going to Columbus and the state tournament for the third time in four years was not even on the radar screen.

Our guys did a great job. They passed the ball well and shots went in. Guys make shots and it becomes contagious.
