[Gosh can one guy, I mean, only one, change a team so completely? Evidently he can. Yeah, I could quibble and say Michael Vick's passing was way off Sunday night, but so what? Did you see the faces of those fans? Did you see the way the Falcons' defense was playing? How can a QB make the defense so much better?] Because it's easy to play defense like this, ... It's harder when the other team has 10 minutes more of possession time than you do. |

He's a backside runner. If he catches you running to the ball, he'll make you pay for it. Him making you pay for it is a lot different than other backs. Most times, it will cost you 10 yards or so. With him, he'll take it 50 yards for a touchdown. |
I bull-rushed the guy. He tackled me. The ref threw the flag, late. So I'm thinking he's calling holding. But it wasn't. It was tripping. On me. |
I spent last year with [former Eagles defensive end Derrick] Burgess in Oakland, and he misses this place, too. He had nothing but good things to say about this organization and the city. |
It's a shame the way that game turned out because Tommy deserves more recognition than he's going to get now. |
It's kind of like the old Barry Sanders Rule. The first person to him wouldn't take a shot at him. First person to him would break down in front of him and try to mirror him to give everybody else a chance. You weren't gonna tackle him by yourself. |
That's one of the main reasons he deserves this (Pro Bowl). Teams are having to change their blocking schemes and change their offenses, trying to slow him down. They stick a tight end over there to cover him. They send multiple guys out to check him. |
We need people. We got money. We don't have people. |
When you're playing every snap, the problem is you can't give 110 percent on every play. |
