 We have good volunteers. Without the volunteers, the society wouldn't be what it is today.

 We thought the Black River Historical Society was in charge of restoring the lighthouse. We joined the society and became more involved. One thing led to another.

 We want to take a break. I just want to take a vacation. Maybe it's time for new and fresh ideas. We'll remain active with the society, but we want to have less responsibility in the operations.

 We're interested in Lorain history. We wanted to update the society for the future and make people in the city more aware of us. We've become more involved in the community and have had a presence at all of the city's festivals.
