I don't know if this (streak) is any different this time around or not. How long this will last? I don't even know if we can think about that. Our focus has to be on what's going on right now. Right now we're playing well and the only concern we can have is our next game. We can't look beyond that. We won our last game, but that's over. All we can do is look ahead one game.

I don't see that as a problem. We know what we have to do when we come back. We've been preparing, I think, for this break since Day 1. We'll be ready to pick back up again when we return, and I think the team will be fresher.

I don't think of it as eight games in 11 days or same thing with seven games in 11 days coming up; the only thing to do is look ahead at the game in front of you, whether it's one day or two days or no days, there's really nothing else that I think of. Obviously it's a lot of hockey, but this is what we want to do. It's fun.

I fanned on the shot, but got it up there. It hit the defenseman and went behind him somehow. It's nice when we get the bounces.

I thought we came at them hard and did some good stuff and had momentum on our side. Then they just took it back.

If you ask me if I'm disappointed about not being able to celebrate with my country, absolutely.

It all can be fixed. Now we just have to go out and do it.

It couldn't have turned out better.

It just goes off my stick. The better thing would have been if I missed the whole thing, but it caught a little bit of my blade and went right to him.

It's a big win. Points are important, and it was good to get two tonight.

It's a little bit of everything. It's a lot of small details we need to get fixed.

It's early. It's Game 1. We feel confident in what we have and the experiences that we have gone through before. We don't feel like this is a new thing for us. We have been battling back the whole year. It's been that kind of year for us. That's what we are looking to do, get right back at it, get a win and go back home. Now more than ever it's one game at a time. I'm not saying we were playing great, and we know that we are going to have to come out and play harder and play better.

It's great to come out with a good start. We had a real high energy. We got the puck in deep and managed to hold onto the puck in their end. That's how we've got to play.

It's part of the game. It's something that happens. Everybody is thinking about Dave the person, that's who we're looking after. It's sad to see, but it's part of the game and it's management's decision. We can't do anything about it other than move on. Obviously, we're going to miss having him around.

Obviously, if you ask anyone, as long as we're winning, I don't think anyone cares how we do it. Once again, it feels like we have to stand here and defend our loss.
