No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again. |
We have a lot invested in this town. Our homes, our lives, our churches are here. We're going to be good neighbors and see what we can do to help Mr. Strong make this a good place to live. |
We want to do whatever we can to make our town better. |
