After the last practice session yesterday we made the fatal error of adjusting something on the car and I didn't get my brake bias back to where it needed to be. I spun on the first lap and almost spun on the second lap so I spent the qualifying session adjusting my brake bias. |
I was still haunted by my last minute adjustment before qualifying. I am still trying to get the brakes all dialed in. I still couldn't come into the braking zones with authority until half way through the race. I caught back up and it was just a matter of 10 to 20 feet every braking zone because the Performance Friction Brakes were working well once it was dialed in. |
I'm really happy with the setup. The car is handling extremely well, it is braking well and it is doing everything it should so it should be good for qualifying tomorrow. |
It is amazing that every year we run less yellow laps. To run this race under full green is great for the series but it is tough not to have a yellow when you are trying to make up ground! |
It was a light ding into the wall and it broke the suspension arm and that was pretty much it so we will have it together and Paul will be ready to go. |
Seth and I were having good runs in the early going. Unlike Paul, we came through the first lap melee in pretty good shape. I think we ran three or four laps under caution, but then once the race went green, we were able to pick up some track positions. |
