He's a Georgia guy and he had an interest in being here. He has fit in very, very well in the locker room. I think the players respect him as a person and a player. He goes out and when he kicks in practice or in games, he just makes his kicks. I think that's what players want to see. They want to see a guy put it through the uprights, and Todd does that. |
He's a guy who's a veteran and has some savvy and toughness, |
He's a quarterback. If he feels like that, that's fine. As the head coach – I'm not a guy who worries about thing like that. But I also didn't have to take 65 snaps from center with a crazed defense across the field. I had a jacket on; he didn't. |
He's a really talented kid, |
He's been working hard. He's going to be really good. He's just got to keep working at it. |
He's been working real hard. Guys reach a point and they mature, or they reach a point where they're either going to get it done or they're not. It's his third year. He's figured out the league and what he needs to do to get his body ready. |
He's going to bring us a little spunk, a little swagger. I know the players feed off his energy a little bit. |
He's in his 10th year in the league, so he's a little bit older, but the guy can make it happen. He can be a dominant player. I know our guys have tremendous respect for him. I can tell you that we had a guy running around (in practice) with No. 80 on, and everybody knew where he was. |
he's not doing much. |
He's obviously very confident, he understands football, he understands what they're doing on offense, he understands defenses, he knows where to go with the football and he makes good decisions. |
He's out for the year, unfortunately more for him than anybody, ... Christian will come in and do a good job for us, so we've just got to move on. That's how you do it in this business. |

He's questionable. I think, knowing Pat, if he makes it through today and tomorrow and he doesn't have any residual effects with running and cutting, that we'll be able to get him going on a couple of plays Friday night. |
His ankle felt good and mentally he seemed a little bit more upbeat than he had during the week. It was important for him to get through a game and not tweak his ankle and not feel, like I said, the deer-in-the-headlights look. He was more comfortable playing in that game. |
His production really, really went down. I don't think that you just pin it on T.J., but there was a dramatic change. I spent time with him and Ollie (Wilson, the running backs coach) spent time with him and we talked about footwork. Or was it where he was lining up? Was it where his body was leaning? That's a great question that I don't have an answer for. |
