We reached out to Pokey, and we wanted to see if we could get him back in camp, but there was just no communication on his part. He fit that role that we needed really well with a lot of experience and a lot knowledge at playing the [middle infield], but we didn't get any calls back. ... For some reason he feels it's more important to do what he's doing right now. I respect that, but we're going to miss him.
