He busts on any authority figure. He's been really nice to me so far. I'm waiting for him to break it out.

He can play first, third and the outfield, has a good arm and more speed than people think. He's made a good first impression.
He can spearhead the leadership in that regard. That's what we're looking for and I really think our guys are capable. They're strong, they're young, they have good deliveries. They should be able to get to that point. It's all about pitch count and not giving up too much early in the game.

He changed speeds well. Pretty good breaking ball. Overall he probably located pretty well.
He did a nice job. He was ready for it. He was really prepared.
He didn't feel anything pop. It was such a weird fall. I just didn't want to take any chances on leaving him out there any longer.
He didn't overuse it. That made it a more effective pitch.
He didn't sound overly concerned, but when you get those pulls in the side, you have to wonder.
He does? I don't think he's ever been hurt, so he doesn't know that he heals fast. This is new water for him. In talking to him he's never pulled anything so it's unusual. That's nice that he said that, but we'll wait until [Thursday] and see how he feels and what the doctors say.
He felt really good, because he was taking his time. So I told him to continue taking your time. I think he's going to leave here (Friday) feeling pretty good about himself.
He felt something real quickly, but he was fine. The next couple of pitches were really important to see what he did. They were fine. I thought he threw better after that.
He got angry in a good way. He had just had enough and he responded in a manner that you'd expect a man and athlete of his caliber to respond. It was so noticeable. When he came off the mound, he had this look. It was really different. He was intense.
He had a thumb cramp. It must have been from too many video games growing up. It just looked so strange so we got him out. He was throwing great.
He had a tough day. He just had a tough day and he's going to have to regroup from that and move on.
He had some really sharp pitches. He was just a little bit up on occasion. He made some really nice pitches down and away. He spotted the ball in a couple of times. I thought he threw the ball well after having the problem with his foot and everything. He was fine.
