 Lydia had a couple of fabulous runs (in GS) in very adverse conditions. We had very, very high winds and lots of snow. I'll bet 8 or 9 inches fell during the day.

 Our girls are strong, but we can't afford to make mistakes, either. We have to stand up and make good runs.

 Our young racers really stepped up.

 They skied a little tentative in the morning slalom - partly by design - but they really opened it up in the GS in the afternoon.

 We don't have big numbers, but our quality is very, very good. They'll have to focus their attention (because all four will have to finish for St. Francis to post a team score), but they can't be thinking about making mistakes. They just have to ski the way they ski and get down the hill.
