I just enjoyed it while it lasted. The first three or four days it was kind of nerve-wracking. I was in awe. It didn't seem real to me. As time went on, I felt more and more relaxed. It's been an awesome experience. It gives you confidence going back to the Minor Leagues and hoping that you'll be called up at some point of the season. |
I know I'm not going to make the team but I am trying to make a good impression with the manager and the coaching staff. I want them to know that I'm capable of pitching at this level and give them something to think about. |
I think it came from being so excited about being here. They said (the readings) were all over the map compared to the test they had from 2003. I guess I was a little too fired up. |
I think it's realistic. It makes it easier for me to believe that knowing that they have confidence in me. |
I was a lot calmer and relaxed this time. I didn't feel like everything was going 1,000 mph. It just seemed like a normal game. I didn't have the butterflies this time around. I just went out and pitched. |
I'm not disappointed at all. This experience has been more than I could have asked for. |
It's a little frustrating because everyone else has faced hitters now but me. Hopefully, I'll be ready before too much longer. |
My front shoulder was flying open, so I knew I was rushing my delivery. |
