 As always, there are things to work on, but I am seeing the players incorporating things we work on in practice into the matches, whereas before they would work on it in practice, but never attempt in an actual game. These players are growing with each play and getting stronger and stronger and more confident. |

Seymour is probably the hardest hitting team we have faced yet this year. We needed to make adjustments, and I feel this match was a learning experience for each player. |

| We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match. I told the girls that we needed to move, communicate, and make smart plays. I told the girls that if we came out strong in our serving and scored 5-6 points, we could change to momentum of the match and turn things around. |
| We didn't pull together. We basically tried to play individually and in the game of volleyball, it takes everyone pulling together to be successful. These girls dug deep within themselves to win this invitational ... All in all, this match was played hard, we suffered a few miscues, miscommunication, and a little bit of not moving, but as always these girls talked amongst themselves and worked through these problems and success is what came out of this hard work. |
