 So disheartening and frustrating for those of us who are on the front lines.

 That was one of the excuses that was given last time -- that Planned Parenthood was a political organization, therefore we could not be included. They're (Alpha Center) out there clearly lobbying and politically involved in that way.

 The women of South Dakota will still be able to access safe and legal abortion as this case works its way through the court system.

 There are links on there to Catholic Family Services, and there's nobody who's more political than the Catholic church in South Dakota.

 This is a very real issue for a lot of people. That's the part I think the legislators don't quite understand.

 This is an issue that is affecting real people's lives in this state and potentially around the country.

 This is proof-positive that Gov. Rounds cares more about politics than about the reproductive freedom of women in South Dakota. He has made a mockery of issues that women face every day. A woman and her family, in consultation with her doctor and her conscience, should be making private, personal health-care decisions ? not politicians.

 We consider emergency contraception something of a staple that ought to be in every woman's medicine cabinet just in case, whether it's a time where a condom breaks, you forgot to take a few pills, you forgot to put your patch on, or you have an incident of unwanted intercourse, forced intercourse.

 We fully intend to challenge this law. It's just a question of how.

 We hope (Rounds) recognizes this for what it is: a political tool and not about the health and safety of the women of South Dakota.
