You can tell he wants to get back as soon as he can. He has worked hard to do it. |
You could see there was more quickness to his arm. He just looked more comfortable throwing the ball. |
You want to build up innings. He could throw one inning [in a game] and throw 30 pitches and we'd have to get him out of there. |
You'd like to see him get three or four starts down here. You have to remember after he hardly pitched last spring he only missed one start until hit by the line drive. Maybe he's just not a spring-training guy. It'll ease everybody's mind once he gets into action. |
