I'm trying to get used to playing with it. And not playing four days, I kind of got out of rhythm a little bit. |
I've been having that my whole life, where there haven't been a lot of individual awards, |
It could be worse, ... I'm already kind of running around and jumping. They kind of said to me `just see how you feel.' |

It felt like a track meet. I was getting a little winded out there. I just wanted to stay aggressive, stay in the middle and create things that way. |
It was a nickname given to me by some college friends, ... It was kind of made up because I spin the rhymes and drop the dimes. But I basically make fun of myself because I'm not musically inclined. I don't have a whole lot of rhythm, so it's funny and it rhymes. It just kind of stuck. I don't really tell a whole lot of people, but now the secret is out. |
It will always be a question in everyone's mind, but the fact is I just wasn't healthy. |
It?s, obviously, really disappointing; you just count on each day as feeling better, and it definitely has. |
It's just a lot of instinct and it's a lot of understanding of what's there and what's not there, |
It's not going to get any better until I stop playing, |
Jen has played two years, and she's played great against Sacramento, |
Last year we were 18-16, and the playoffs start, and the next thing you know, we're in the finals. Pretty cool. This year, we expected to win. |
Obviously it won't be healed before the end of the finals, but it's one of those situations where the swelling, if it can go down, and it's not in the worst possible spot ... Obviously it cracked in the first half (Saturday) and I played the second half, so it wasn't like I was incapable to run, ... Obviously there's swelling and there's some stiffness in there, so right now running I wouldn't be able to do. But you never know over the next few days how things work. We'll just wait and see what happens. |
Sitting here at halftime, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to go back (home) to a Game 5. I knew we had some work to do in the second half, but I felt really confident. All of a sudden we were down, and then it was like, 'What happened?' It just didn't happen for us. |
