 Eugene is just a natural striker. He has everything you want: he's got speed, can win balls in the air, is good with both feet and knows how to create space. Oh, and he's a 4.0 student.

 Eugene wouldn't let the game end without getting one. He wanted to be the last straw that broke their back and he did it.

 I think it speaks to the level of talent in the area. These kids have come through the club level and they're ready when they get to high school. This area is a hotbed of soccer right now.

 Tonight was a challenge and the kids stepped up. They went out and took care of business against a very good club.

 When you're playing a regional semifinal the passion is there, the energy is there.

 You learn a bit more from your losses. It was an awakening for our boys. They took the long scenic route. Every game was away, but it made it sweeter in the end.

 You play for pride, but it's an all star game so it's all for fun. Me and (Countryside coach) Dave (Sica) joked on the bench that we'll trade an all-star win for a couple of championships any day.
