You don't want to show them everything you've got. But you want to go out there and compete and not give them a lot of runs. I'm a competitor and, even during spring training, I don't like to give up a lot of runs. |
You're not ever going to see me start putting my head down. I'm going to do whatever I have to do to get out of it. I'm going to throw whatever pitch is working that day. If I have to throw 75 breaking balls, then that's what it's gonna be. My demeanor is that you can knock me down, but you know I'm not going to stay down. |
