 As soon as he let it go, I'm looking to get the rebound and hopefully get fouled. But as soon as I turned around to crash the boards, it went right through the net. That was a tough shot that he hit.

 I am a leader on this team, and I'm the one taking a lot of the big shots in big games. It was my time to step up and take control.

 I definitely feel like we let one get away. I feel we had an opportunity to win all our (Big East) games. We should be 5-0, in my opinion, but we just didn't execute in the final minutes. I felt they did a better job than us at it (executing).

 I definitely have to (take over) at that point. I'm the leader of this team. It was time for me to step up.

 I had a real good look and I thought it was good. It just hit the front of the rim and rolled out.

 I just trying for the win, but the team needed me to score. I was put into a position to score and get open looks.

 I kind of figured he wasn't going to be here because when I looked out my window I thought the whole game was going to be canceled. I knew he had went and I knew he was supposed to fly back so it was going to be hard for him to be here.

 I knew my points were gonna come because a lot of the games in the season I didn't score until about eight minutes left in the first half. I could score in spurts, so I really didn't let it frustrate me.

 I knew they were going to double me. I just tried to find guys open looks and they knocked down shots.

 I realized what was going on. I needed to get involved. I was taking my shot, but it wasn't falling. My legs were a little tired from chasing those guys around. So I started attacking the basket.

 I think St. John's and a few other teams still have a chance, so we have to go down to St. John's (on March 5) and play real hard. They're a real good team. We just have to go down there focused and get this win.

 I think we're going to do real well defensively. I think we match up well with some teams. We can't go in [to other teams' home courts] thinking we're going to lose.
