I know in talking to them after the Oregon game last year, it's not often any kid in America gets to play in front of 70,000 people. It's kind of the same thing for us when teams come here, but to a lesser effect. It's a thrill. |
I think a more accurate portrayal is that some of the money is going to have to be reinvested in football, because they're the ones playing the game. Some of it will also have to be reinvested into the deficit. |
To our knowledge, it's the largest I-AA game guarantee in the history of football. There are bigger ones if you're Notre Dame going to USC, but this is huge for us. |
