He's come a long way since we were teammates in Toronto. He was a good pitcher then. Obviously, he has far more experience now. |
He's never here. |
He's used to that, too. |
Hey I don't get hit by anybody. |
Hopefully, we're moving into reaching for higher places, ... The opportunity is there. You know, we see it and hear it and it might not come around again and we might not have that opportunity. We know that there are a handful of us that are a little bit older on this club and might not get that chance, so in that sense there is an urgency. |
How about it? We're going to go see it. We're going to dance and do a little something. |
How, ... can you not believe in it? |
I appreciate what my teammates said to me tonight, ... I told them there was no way I was going to run out on them for what they've done for me over the last few years. |
I asked her if she was in the fields, and she said I think I am, ... She just loves the game of baseball. |
I believe my body to be back on the upswing, |
I came out of the Classic pretty good, a couple of days sooner than we wanted. It was fun. Once we got the uniforms on and got out there and heard the anthems, it was pretty good. You could tell the other clubs were a little further advanced than us. |
I came up here and as quick as I could to take my sleeve off and have them check it and see if there was anything I could do so I could continue. The fluid already started to build up in my leg. So they gave me some medication and I'm going to treat it. |
I can't imagine he would throw at him, otherwise, he would ... get himself thrown out of one of the most important games of his career. |
I didn't want to come home to wave and tip my cap and just be there, |
I don't bat an eye at stuff like that. I've had my share of wins. If I worried about the games I should have won, it would probably drive me crazy. It was a fun game to pitch in. |
