 I haven't talked to Minnesota. Certainly, I'm fortunate to have anybody interested. I don't get into whether they're going to call or not. I'm happy to be here, to be honest with you.

 I just finished coaching three days ago. I'm now in a different phase here. I'm sure they're going to do a thorough job and you've got to respect that. I'm in no hurry to make a decision one way or another.

 I knew Corey there. He started 64 games there during four years. He's one of those guys that doesn't come off the field.

 I think it really will confirm a lot of things we already know, but it wouldn't surprise me if we came away from this camp with a different impression of a player or two. It could be positive, too. It's not always a negative impression. Somebody could catch our eye and be a pleasant surprise.

 I think it's maybe the most interesting (trio) since I've been in the NFL because they're so different.

 I think one of the things we wanted to address was our ability to line up toe-to-toe with some of these people that get into these two tight end sets and run the ball at you.

 I think Ryan's got the upper hand on that at this point. But we wanted to keep Jeff around. We feel he's got a chance to develop, too. They'll be in position now to battle for that.

 I think that has a lot to do with a persona that kind of wills the team. His teammates respond to his leadership. I think that's kind of what separates him from a lot of the people in the draft.

 I think that we are in good position to start up the talks again. We are going to make a commitment to try to get it done. Where I'm sure that there are other people who are saying that it will sure be nice to have him, his value to this organization is much higher than just his ability as a football player, believe me. We are going to make the effort that needs to be made to try and get it done.

 I think that's what training camp is for. People can get close to, and watch, their favorite players perform in practice. If they've got a little time in the summer to come out and watch 'em, I think it's a great thing.

 I told (Rams President for Football Operations) Jay (Zygmunt) that we needed to get someone today that can catch him.
