I think we are starting to see that in that specific area, a simple C model doesn't cut it. You really want to get down to the hardware, making architectural choices because in some sense you are deciding which market you want to go after. |
It's time to set a new bar in what we can expect students to have designed while in college. The days of designing a filter as your master's thesis are long gone. We should expect students to implement a million-gate design in a semester. |
