The Veda is omnipresent. |
The Vedas are the oldest literary creations of man. Now the word 'literature' is used to connote writings scribbled while eager to find something to spend the time hanging on hand. They have no inner worth or significance; they destroy the traits of good character in the reader and implant bad attitudes and habits; they do not adhere to the path of Truth. |
The Western mind is capable of believing in Jesus as the Son of God, at least on the part of some of the population, but seems unable or unwilling to grasp the concept of the Avatar as an incarnation of God. |
The whole creation is emerged from the Truth and merges back into it. |
The whole world is governed by God, and God is governed by Truth. |
The wise are cheerful and content with their lot in life. |
The wise are those who know the Self. |
The world itself is a great teacher, a constant guide and inspiration. That is the reason why man is surrounded and sustained by the world. |
The year becomes new, the day becomes holy, when you sanctify it by spiritual discipline, not otherwise. |
The Yoga science is today being probed by physicists and others in Western countries. |
Then, who really is this I? Fire burns and also brightens. It burns things by heat and brightens them by the light it sheds. Fire is different from the things it acts upon. |
There are four types of persons, the ‘dead’, who deny the Lord and declare that they alone exist, independent and self-directed, the ‘sick’, who call upon the Lord when some calamity befalls them or when they feel temporarily deserted by the unusual source of succor, the ‘dull’, who know that God is the eternal companion and watchman, but who remember it only off and on when the idea is potent and powerful, and lastly the ‘healthy’, who have steady belief in the Lord and who live in His Comforting Creative Presence always”. |
There are many who have all these in plenty but who are yet worried or in pain or discontented. They depend on the inner equipment of man, not his outer skill or riches. |
There is a loving relationship between the Creator and the Creation. |
There is a strange glow on the face of a guileless person. Inner cleanliness has its own soap and water - the soap of strong faith and the water of constant practice. |
