It's been rejected. The members want to continue to strike, so we will continue to strike.

Looking back, the strike did not have the effect we wanted it to. It's evident, because Northwest is still flying.

Maybe it's just symbolic, but to me this is the day for labor and this is the day I'm proud to be a striking member.

Northwest is still obligated to negotiate with us. We can file motions at bankruptcy hearings. We're still in the mix; that's what this says.

The system that Northwest has in place can't last forever. They're falling down. No matter what they report they are falling down on the repair of the aircraft and, at some point, it's going to have to come to an end and we're going to have to go back into work.

There's nothing mean about it. It's just facts. The members of the board need to be held accountable for what has happened. The people in charge have wrecked this company.
