I am very pleased with the Senate vote. I've said consistently that the legislative intent was not to add additional judges. Unintentional consequences caused this. |

The city proper can serve their needs quite well as the neighborhoods come back, ... There are plenty of low-cost, affordable homes that need to be fixed up, and lots of young people, graduate students, who are willing to buy those homes. |
The high prices are also positive in that they’ll force less consumption, which means less fossil fuels being used and less pollution, ... Most people don’t like being in a lot of traffic. If they have to pay a lot of money to do something they don’t like, then they might find another way to go — live closer to work or demand more mass transit. |
