I really liked the way we competed in the second half.

I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket.

I sense a confidence with our guys. I like the looks on their faces when [the Celtics] made their run. It didn't look like they were lost or rattled. They were upset that the team came back, but I saw determination more than anything else.

I think he has had a positive impact. Defensively, I have a lot of confidence in his toughness. Offensively, I think he does a good job of knowing what we want to get done and playing within his comfort range.

I think he's in pretty decent shape,

I think he's showing all the things he can do that he did two years ago. Part of the thing with training camp is everybody getting to know each other. Even though T.J. was here two years ago, he's still somewhat of a new player.

 I think it's getting better. But. . . .

I think Michael is an all-star. The East is guard- heavy. My philosophy in all-star voting is you reward winning. Right now we're having a better year than a lot of people thought we would, and Michael is a big reason for it.

I think they remember (that loss to New York) but I think they know what's important now. Rather than think about what happened six weeks ago . . . what's at stake now is much more important than getting revenge on New York.

I think they won the game with their defense. They pressured us. The thing we have to do is execute better offensively and handle their pressure better.

I think we are confident in these type of games. We feel when a game is close now, we will find a way with a stop or a big shot. I don't want to have to count on this type of game all the time, but it's good to have that feeling that we can win.

I think what this trade does is put us, hopefully, in the forefront of being a playoff team. We want to make the transition easy for Andrew.
