I felt like I hit the ball well today all day. I feel like I controlled my shots well. I just didn't get a whole lot out of it today. |
I felt like I putted well. The greens are a little bumpy out there, but you have to be careful not to run the putts by. |
I felt like I was playing well enough to be in the lead, and it wasn't like I was slapping it all over the place and just happy to be there. I felt like I should have had the lead (alone) after three rounds. |
I felt the tournament was over, that he'd pour it right in there. |
I figured 19 (under) would either win the tournament outright or be in a playoff. I had to birdie the last two holes somehow. I had to take the chance of hitting driver (on No. 17) and put the ball anywhere up there where I could make birdie. It ended up as good as you could like. |
I figured if I could birdie 17 and 18 and post a number I would at least have some kind of a chance. |
I figured if I could jut get to even par ... if I was lucky, I might be able to get into a playoff. Unfortunately, I made those two bogeys on 16 and 17 and (they) kind of put me out of that equation. |
I figured if I go birdie-eagle, or something like that, I'm right there at 1 over par looking pretty good, ... Then all of a sudden here I am back at 5 over par, even for the day. Now you've got to suck it up and hit two good golf shots and that's what I'm really proud of. |
I figured it was time to spice things up a little bit. Hopefully, the guys will enjoy it. |
I fought every day. I didn't get off to a good start any day, but I ... gutted it out and posted some good numbers, except for the first day. |
I gave it everything I had. |
I get to play golf for a living. What more can you ask for - getting paid for doing what you love. |
I got back home, rested a few more days and kind of laid low until I felt like getting back into it, |
I got it going a little bit but I needed to do that to give myself any kind of chance, |
I got off to a pretty sweet start. |
